SEOUL – Two multiple winners on the PBA women's tour play in the final of the SY Vérité Championship this Sunday afternoon at 3 pm Western European Time. Korea's Ga-young Kim is the star at the LPBA with 15 victories in recent years, while Cambodia's Sruong Pheavy has won nine tournaments. The men are ready for the semifinals, in which there are no European players left in the tournament.
The women's tournament reaches its climax on Sunday afternoon with the two best players from the PBA tour. Cambodia's Pheavy showed in the semifinals that she is in great form with a 3-0 win over Ye-eun Kim with set averages 0.917, 1.375, and 1.833. Ga-young Kim defeated Seul-gi Han 3-1, with set averages 1.571, 1.222, 1.143, and 1.375. The women's level is extremely high, although it should be said that bank shot points count double.
In the men's competition, Semih Sayginer was one of the last Europeans to be eliminated from the tournament. The Turkish player lost to Hyun-won Kim in a thriller with 3-2. Sayginer lost the last and decisive set 11-8 in 5/4 innings and lost the set before that with 15-1 in 6 innings.

Min-gu Kang, former tournament winner, defeated Jun-tae Kim 3-1 with set averages 1.375, 1.875, 3.750, and 1.667.
Robinson Morales lost 3-1 to Seung-jin Lee in the last 8. The final semi-finalist comes from the match between Yusuke Mori, the previous tournament winner, and Sung-won Choi, former world champion in the UMB.
